When I think of God our eternal Father I marvel at His patience, abundant steadfast love, His Grace, mercy and faithfulness. He is just and, of course, holy. I am grateful that He is our Creator, Source, Sustainer and Sovereign of all creation! He is spoke of many, many times throughout scripture so here are just a few verses to get you started:
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:28
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” 1 John 4:8
