During the pandemic, the SDA church hierarchy was in conformity with the UN’s specialized agency, the World Health Organization. They fulfilled their role as NGOs in consultative status with the UN. It removed any option for genuine religious liberty claims as a Seventh-day Adventist. The ongoing relationship with the UN and certain Official Statements will prevent the Seventh-day Adventist Church from claiming religious liberty regarding the seventh-day Sabbath in the near future. The relationship needs to end now!
