As 2025 draws to a close and we look forward to 2026 I pray that we are all planning our Bible reading schedule for the New Year. I have used the Our Daily Bread reading plan which works very well. However the plan is only available at the bottom of each page of their quarterly daily devotional books (which are free please check out their website).
I used to read the devotionals in the morning when I do my Bible reading but this year I changed to reading them at bedtime because I have several daily devotional books I read and I want to try to meditate on Gods word as I go to sleep. I searched their website to see if they did a Bible reading plan document but they don’t. After speaking to them and gaining permission I have compiled the document myself using their reading plan.
Instead of keeping it for myself I have decided to post it here so you can save and print it (every year if you choose to) to use for yourself and to share with family and friends who like to read the Bible daily or to encourage new disciples to read daily. It is completely free.
It’s not fancy or perfect but it’s functional. There is a blank column in the middle of the page so that the document can be folded if you choose to print it out to keep with your Bible.
I have also created a Bible commentary reading plan here which can be used alongside this Bible reading plan.
At the request of a good friend here is a larger print reading plan for those who prefer a larger print size.
